Peter DeWan, Ph.D.

Peter DeWan is a quantitative sociologist who pioneered developments in social network analysis, influence and behavioral change. He applies cutting-edge quantitative social science research to a wide variety of interesting problems. He served as Chief Scientific Officer for Activate Networks Inc. and Vice President of Research and Development at Decision Resources and has extensive consulting and teaching experience. He holds a BA from Columbia, a PhD in Sociology from Harvard and currently maintains an affiliation with MIT.

Sanam Roder, M.D. Dr.P.H.

Sanam Roder-DeWan is a family physician and a public health researcher with over a decade of clinical and programmatic experience with underserved populations in the U.S., sub-Saharan Africa and Central America. She is especially interested in participatory methodologies and qualitative approaches that value local expertise and give voice to those experiencing health, illness and poverty in sub-Saharan Africa. She holds an MD from Penn, and a doctorate in public health from Harvard.
